SilverCeuticals, founded in 2022, makes silver-based health and wellness products from gels and supplements to toothpaste and facial serums.

It was built around Dr. Keith Moeller, an expert in silver’s medical applications, with a team of naturopathic doctors, medical professionals, and silver experts behind every product.

What challenge did SilverCeuticals face marketing niche silver products?

The medical benefits of silver aren’t widely known, which made SilverCeuticals’ products hard to market.

As a health and wellness company, the brand also has to follow strict government rules that limit what they can claim, making it harder to reach consumers.

To get past this, SilverCeuticals decided to build trust by having customers, affiliates, and influencers try the products and recommend them from real experience.

It’s not very common… to have a book of business where you pay based on results. Typically, you’re paying in hopes of getting results… when it comes to affiliate and influencer marketing, you can reward sales drivers with commissions

SilverCeuticals first ran a custom-built affiliate solution, but it was too complex and expensive to maintain. Looking for something more efficient, the brand moved to UpPromote for its features and Shopify integration.

How does SilverCeuticals get affiliates to promote authentically?

Because silver in health products is new to many people, SilverCeuticals’ main goal is to get people to try the products and feel the benefits themselves.

So the brand welcomes anyone to join their affiliate program and asks affiliates to use the products before recommending them to family, friends, and followers. It also offers free samples to interested affiliates and influencers.

With UpPromote’s gift feature, brands can easily automate the process of sending product samples to affiliates. Merchants can also decide whether to cover shipping costs or let affiliates pay.

They are the types of influencers who want to try the products and actually use them. If they truly believe in the products, they’ll share them with their audience

Affiliates who use the products tend to promote them with more conviction. One influencer, Kaylynn Zoe Young, has spoken about trusting the brand’s gummies to support her immune system.

How did SilverCeuticals build a network of over 1,100 affiliates?

Affiliate marketing is the cornerstone of SilverCeuticals’ strategy, so the brand invests heavily in it. They pays a 25% commission per sale, above the 5–20% typical in the health and beauty niche.

The brand also runs a referral program that lets customers earn commissions for referring products to their friends.

Together with the products themselves, these rewards have grown an active network of over 1,100 affiliates.

How does SilverCeuticals support and equip their affiliates?

SilverCeuticals gives affiliates both the resources to start fast and discounts that make their pitch stronger.

Give affiliates resources to start fast

SilverCeuticals provides product images and clear instructions for using the UpPromote affiliate dashboard, so affiliates can start promoting without delays.

Having those materials ready means new affiliates aren’t left guessing how to begin.

Offer exclusive discounts through unique coupon codes

The brand also gives affiliates exclusive discounts they can’t get elsewhere, making promotions more appealing and helping affiliates win more customers.

With UpPromote, SilverCeuticals can give each affiliate a unique coupon code; when a customer uses it, the system tracks the sale and credits the right affiliate.

We try to protect the price or the discount that we offer through our affiliates as one of the deepest discounts we have ever offered

Roland Gyallay, COO and CFO of Snogo Straws

That deep discount lets affiliates promise their followers the lowest price, on top of a genuine recommendation.

How does SilverCeuticals keep affiliates compliant in a regulated niche?

Operating in health means the brand has to manage what affiliates say as carefully as how much they sell.

Guide affiliates on what they can and can’t say

Because SilverCeuticals works in the health niche, they must follow strict government rules on product claims. Since affiliates promote directly to customers, the brand makes sure they stay aligned and don’t overpromote.

There are government restrictions around what we can say about the products. And when you’re paying affiliates, you’re liable for whatever they say. So we have to instruct and guide them on what they can and can’t say

Roland Gyallay, COO and CFO of Snogo Straws

Clear guidance keeps both the brand and their affiliates on the right side of the rules.

Stay in close contact with active affiliates

SilverCeuticals also builds strong relationships, staying in regular contact with their most engaged affiliates. Local affiliates are invited to the office, while others connect over Zoom.

UpPromote helps the brand share updates and guidance with affiliates through email or in-app chat.

A lot of the most active ones we try to stay in good contact with. If they’re local, we’ll have them come in and meet with us. If not, we connect with them through Zoom

Roland Gyallay, COO and CFO of Snogo Straws

That regular contact keeps the most active affiliates engaged and informed.

What results has SilverCeuticals seen with affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing has become a cornerstone of SilverCeuticals’ growth. It now drives nearly one-third of the brand’s revenue.

The program supports an active network of around 1,100 affiliates, and their best performers bring in between $50,000 and over $100,000 in monthly sales.

SilverCeuticals recommends affiliate marketing to other merchants as a low-risk, cost-effective channel since the brand only pays when a sale is made.
